　ブルーベルコテージは、ひととき日常を忘れて癒されたい大人たちのためのペンションです。コンセプトは「大人の別荘」――忙しい毎日を送る現代の大人の皆さんが、都会の喧騒や日々の忙しさを忘れてゆったりくつろげる、第二の我が家。そのため、外観・インテリアは英国風を意識しつつ、モダンでスタイリッシュな都会風ではなく、田舎風のナチュラルでクラシカルなデザインにして、非日常でありながら落ち着きのある空間作りにこだわっています。白樺高原・女神湖エリアの自然の美しさを、ゆったりと味わいにいらしてください。

　お迎えするお客様は1日3組まで。ゆとりのある4つの客屋は一室ごとにデザインを変え、お好みに合った部屋を選んでいただけるようにしました。リラックスしてお休みいただけるよう、マットレスにもこだわっています。また、薪ストーブのある玄関ロビー、暖炉のある広いダイニング、南向きの明るい図書室など、パブリックスペースも十分に確保しています。

　食事は四季折々の旬の食材を取り入れたコース料理。信州のおいしい食材を存分に味わっていただけるメニューをご用意しています。信州産ワインもスパークリングからフルボディの赤まで取り揃えております。

　信州といえば食材だけでなく、空気と水のおいしさも格別です。空気のおいしさをお客様にも味わっていただけるように、館内全面禁煙とさせていただいております。どうぞご理解とご協力をお願いいたします。各客室に湯沸かしポットを置いておりますので、蓼科山の湧水から取水している水道水のおいしさも、ぜひ味わってみてください。

　ペンション名のBluebellは、ブルーベル（イングリッシュブルーベル）という花の名前から取りました。Cottageとしたのは、お客様のプライベートな別荘のようにくつろげる場所にしたいとの思いからです。ブルーベルの花言葉は「謙遜」「変わらぬ心」。いつでもお客様がリフレッシュしに帰ってきたくなる、居心地のよい場所でありたいと思います。

Bluebell Cottage is a small hotel for adults looking for a healing resort, getting away from the hustle and bustle of daily lives for a moment. Our concept is "your second home away from home." The exterior and the interior are designed with British taste --not an urban and stylish modern taste but rather natural and classical-- to create a comforting and relaxing atmosphere. Here you can enjoy the beauty of the Shirakaba Kogen highland -- Lake Megami area. We are equipped with four guest rooms designed differently, as well as abundant public space, including the entrance hall with a wood stove, a spacious dining room with a fireplace and a bright library faced to the south. The dinner is a course menu of seasonal ingredients, using a variety of rich food from Nagano prefecture. Also recommended are local wines -- red, white and sparking white -- of the area. We named the place Bluebell Cottage with a wish that it would become a place like a private cottage for our guests. As the flower bluebell means "humility" and "constancy," we always want to be a cozy place, where our guests want to keep coming back for refreshing themselves.
